Reputed Jewellery brand in Qatar is looking for the "HR Manager"  with minimum 5 years experience in Managerial role

Key Responsibilities:


Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies:This includes creating a plan to attract top talent, using various sourcing methods (e.g., online job boards, social media, networking events), and designing job postings.  

Manage the Recruitment Process:This involves screening resumes, conducting interviews (phone, video, in-person), and preparing offer letters.  

Onboarding New Employees:HR managers play a crucial role in welcoming and integrating new hires, ensuring they understand the company culture, policies, and procedures.  

Employee Relations:Addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive work environment are essential aspects of an HR manager's role.  

Compliance with Labor Laws:HR managers ensure the company is following all relevant employment laws and regulations.  

Training and Development:Identifying training needs, developing and implementing training programs, and overseeing career development initiatives are also key responsibilities.  

Performance Management:Design and manage performance appraisal systems, provide feedback to employees, and address any performance issues.  

Compensation and Benefits:Overseeing compensation and benefits programs, including salaries, health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. 

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's/ Master's Degree: This is the typical entry-level education requirement. Common fields of study include:


Human Resources

Business Administration (often with a focus on HR)

Communications

Psychology

Several Years of Related Work Experience: Most HR Manager positions require 3-5 years of experience in HR roles. This often includes starting as an HR specialist, HR generalist, or labor relations specialist.

Leadership/Managerial Experience: Demonstrating the ability to organize, direct, and lead others is crucial. This can be gained through previous HR roles or other management positions.

 


Understanding of HR Programs and Software: Experience with compensation and benefits plans, HR software (e.g., HRIS like SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle), and federal, state, and local employment laws is essential.

Communication: Excellent speaking, writing, and listening skills for presentations, directing staff, mediating conflicts, and building relationships.

Leadership: Ability to coordinate work, ensure duties are completed, and guide employees.

Interpersonal Skills & Empathy: Building working relationships, dealing with sensitive information, active listening, and understanding diverse personalities.

Decision-making: Balancing options and choosing the best course of action, often in complex situations.

Organizational Skills: Prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, and maintaining efficiency.

Problem-solving: Resolving conflicts and issues within the organization.

Strategic Thinking: Aligning HR strategies with business goals and making strategic decisions.

Advising and Coaching: Providing guidance and developing employees.

Ethical Judgment: Maintaining confidentiality and upholding strong ethics.

Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with colleagues and other departments.

Time Management: Overseeing team time and managing responsibilities efficiently.
