Job Role: Pest Control Service Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage the pest management and disinfection team, delegate work activities and responsibilities to deliver specific goals.

Continuously review contracts’ scope of services and schedules and ensure successful execution/delivery of the same as required/planned.

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of pest management and disinfection systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Conceptualizing, planning, developing, implementing and achieving section objectives.

Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and standards within the division operation.

Ensure full compliance with local and international pest management regulations.

Identify insects, pests, and related organisms affecting facilities, businesses, and agricultural areas.

Design integrated pest management (IPM) strategies that minimize environmental impact.

Study preliminary reports and diagrams of infested area(s) to analyse and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence.

Act as a consultant for clients, offering tailored advice on specific pest issues and effective control solutions.

Stay updated with advancements in pest management and disinfection technologies and techniques.

Inspect services provided and executed by the team to ensure compliance with company standards and

the standards of local authorities.

Preparing reports on the pest management and disinfection work undertaken and presenting the work progress to the Management as and when required.

Estimate the cost of services rendered to clients or customers and presenting a detailed report to the management for necessary approvals.

Contribute in bids preparation for tenders participation including technical and commercial offers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree in one or combination in any of the following stated fields: Entomology, Biology, Zoology, Environmental Science, Agricultural Science or Related Discipline.

Relevant Professional Memberships is an added advantage.

8-10 years of related experience of which a minimum of 5-6 years should be in a services managerial position and/or team leading role, preferably in a similar industry.
