Key Responsibilities:
Branch Operations Management:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the branch, ensuring the smooth running of all activities.
Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures in line with GCC healthcare standards.
Ensure compliance with Qatari healthcare regulations, maintaining all necessary licenses, certifications, and approvals.
Ensure efficient management of patient flow, appointment scheduling, and resource allocation.
Monitor operational costs and manage budgets to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
Staff Leadership and Development:
Lead, motivate, and manage the branch staff, including medical and administrative teams.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement necessary actions to improve individual and team productivity.
Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability.
Patient Care and Satisfaction:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in line with clinic standards and patient needs.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction, address complaints, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Ensure that patient records are accurately maintained and comply with data privacy regulations.
Regularly assess patient care processes and propose improvements to enhance service delivery.
Compliance and Regulatory Management:
Ensure the branch complies with local regulations, healthcare laws, and all GCC-wide standards.
Liaise with government and regulatory bodies to ensure the clinic remains in good standing with all licenses and certifications.
Regularly review internal processes to ensure adherence to patient safety, health protocols, and quality standards.
Financial Management:
Manage the branch’s budget, ensuring costs are controlled and revenue targets are met.
Oversee the billing, insurance claims, and payment collection processes.
Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators, expenditures, and revenue generation.
Drive initiatives to increase branch profitability without compromising patient care.
Marketing and Business Development:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and increase branch visibility in the local market.
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, hospitals, and key stakeholders to foster partnerships and referral networks.
Drive patient retention strategies to ensure long-term success and growth of the branch.
Ensure the branch actively participates in community outreach programs to raise awareness of services offered.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure the clinic adheres to local health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols, workplace safety standards, and patient safety measures.
Monitor the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall environment of the clinic to ensure it meets hygiene standards.
Reporting and Administration:
Provide regular updates to senior management regarding branch performance, financial health, patient satisfaction, and staff development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of branch operations, including patient data, employee performance, and financial transactions.
Ensure proper documentation for all regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
Strategic Planning and Growth:
Contribute to the long-term strategic planning for the branch’s development and growth.
Identify opportunities for new services, partnerships, or initiatives that align with business goals and market demands.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of industry changes and adjust branch strategies accordingly.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Mandatory GCC Experience: Minimum of [X] years of professional experience in a managerial role in the GCC region, with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, regulations, and operational management within the Gulf.
Healthcare or Related Industry Management: Proven track record of managing a clinic, healthcare branch, or similar business unit in the GCC.
Leadership & People Management: Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams, including medical, administrative, and support staff.
Financial Management: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability while ensuring high standards of service.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Qatari healthcare regulations and industry standards, with the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
Customer-Centric Approach: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on finding practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
Certification in healthcare management or a relevant field (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is an advantage.
Previous experience in managing a branch within the healthcare industry in Qatar or other GCC countries.
Familiarity with medical software and clinic management systems.
