Title: Emergency Coordinator

Department: Operations (VO) / Joint Services Operations (OJ(O))

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Coordinator to develop, implement, and manage emergency response strategies for offshore operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, preparedness, and effective response of our offshore facilities by working closely with management, offshore operators, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement emergency response strategies, processes, and procedures for offshore operations.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for emergency preparedness and response.

Coordinate and manage offshore emergency response centers (MACC/EOC).

Develop and execute emergency drills, training programs, and competency requirements.

Liaise with ECC, government authorities, coastguards, and ministries during emergencies.

Ensure compliance with emergency regulations and maintain readiness of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in offshore oil & gas operations and emergency response management.

Skills:

Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Expertise in emergency response systems, ICS, and incident management.

Ability to train, coach, and mentor senior staff.

Experience in handling multi-cultural teams and managing high-stress situations.
