The Salesperson is responsible for generating sales, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth by selling HVAC-related materials. The role involves understanding customer needs, presenting suitable product solutions, and closing deals. Previous experience in the HVAC field is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, client meetings, and referrals.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product offerings, especially in HVAC or trading materials, to effectively address customer inquiries and make informed recommendations.
Quotation and Negotiation: Prepare and present quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and contracts, and follow up with clients to close sales.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for business growth.
Customer Service: Address customer concerns and provide after-sales support, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, customer interactions, and progress towards targets in the system.
Collaboration: Work closely with the digital marketing and technical teams to ensure the smooth execution of orders and delivery of services.
Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the business and generate leads.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience: 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC field or related trading industries. However, strong sales skills in any sector will be considered.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, excellent negotiation, and closing skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and colleagues.
Customer-Oriented: A high level of customer focus and a proactive approach to solving client issues.
Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of HVAC systems and materials is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and sales activities simultaneously.
Work Environment: Willingness to travel locally or regionally for client meetings or trade shows.
Availability: Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed to close deals or meet with clients.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience in sales may be considered in lieu of formal education.
