Job Summary:


The Sales Executive for Artwork Sales is responsible for promoting and selling artwork and related services to individual collectors, galleries, interior designers, corporate clients, and other target audiences. The role involves prospecting, making contact, qualifying prospects, nurturing prospect, presenting offer, overcoming objections, and finally closing the sale. It also encompasses building relationships with clients, understanding their preferences, and effectively communicating the value of the artwork. This position combines sales expertise with a passion for and experience in art as well as market knowledge to drive revenue and achieve sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:


1.Sales & Client Management:


Identify and reach out to potential clients, including government entities, businesses, institutions, interior designers, artists, art collectors…etc

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Present artwork portfolios to clients and provide detailed information about artists, pieces, and their value.

Negotiate sales contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

2.Market Research & Strategy:


Research and analyze market trends, including customer preferences, competitors, and emerging opportunities.

Develop tailored sales strategies to attract and retain clients.

Identify key target markets and opportunities for growth in artwork sales.

3.Product Knowledge:


Stay informed about the artists represented by the company, their styles, mediums, and unique selling points.

Communicate the history, significance, and pricing of artwork effectively to clients.

Provide insights into how specific pieces align with current trends or cater to specific clients’ requirement.

4.Event Participation:


Represent the company at art fairs, exhibitions, and gallery events to network and showcase artwork.

Organize private viewings and sales events to connect clients with artwork in an exclusive setting.

Collaborate with curators and event planners to create immersive sales experiences.

5.Administrative & Reporting:


Maintain accurate sales records and client databases using CRM tools.

Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to management.

Ensure timely follow-ups with clients and handle post-sale customer service.

6.Collaboration:


Work closely with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns targeting specific audiences.

Collaborate with curators, artists, and other departments to ensure the availability of artworks that align with market demand.

Provide feedback on client preferences and market trends to guide future acquisitions or exhibitions.

Working Conditions and requirements:


This is a full-time position that may require evening and weekend work to attend events or meet with clients. Travel may be necessary for exhibitions, client meetings, or gallery visits.


General Requirements (Mandatory):


-Qatari valid ID Transferrable


-Qatari valid driving License


-Background in arts or interior design with proven track record of sales involvement in projects


Salary: Base salary plus commission, competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications & Skills:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Business, or a related field.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the art or luxury goods sector.

Skills:


Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence clients.

Passion and knowledge of the art world, including contemporary and classic styles.

Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Proficiency in CRM software and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Negotiation and presentation skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks efficiently.
