We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and patrol premises to detect signs of unauthorized activity or breaches of security

2. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies

3. Enforce company policies and procedures related to security

4. Conduct security checks and screenings as required

5. Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities

6. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed

7. Provide excellent customer service and support to employees and visitors

8. Participate in security training and development programs

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field or security certification preferred

2. Previous experience in security or a related field

3. Valid security license or certification (if required by jurisdiction)

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

6. Strong observation and reporting skills

7. Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
