We are seeking a highly skilled planning engineer to oversee and coordinate project planning activities, ensuring timely execution and resource optimization.   The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project scheduling, cost estimation and risk management, preferably in the construction, oil and gas sectors.

Key responsibilities

Develop, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines and deliverables.

Monitor project progress, identify delays and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track.

Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts and variance analysis to management.

Participate in project review meetings, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical or a related field.

10-15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling preferably in construction, oil and gas projects.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project management tools.

Strong underestanding of project management principles, cost control, and risk assessment.

Knowledge of contract management (FIDIC), Earned Value Management (EVM) and Delay Analysis in an advantage.
