4. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate best terms and conditions with suppliers through cost sheet lead RFQ events. Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure they align with company policies.

5. Inventory Planning and Management: Collaborate with planning and production teams to forecast raw material requirements accurately. Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet production schedules while minimizing holding costs and wastage.

6. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that materials meet the required quality and safety standards.

7. Cost Optimization: Continuously monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining the highest level of product quality.

8. Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as shortages, transportation disruptions, or supplier issues. Develop contingency plans to maintain a stable supply of raw materials.

9. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Promote sustainable and responsible sourcing practices within the supply chain.

10. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize procurement software and tools to gather and analyse data related to procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost metrics. Prepare regular reports for management to aid in decision-making.
