Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and monitor mechanical engineering schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align project timelines with resource availability.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify risks or delays in mechanical work packages.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Assist in resource and cost planning for mechanical activities.
- Track material and equipment deliveries relevant to mechanical scope.
- Support in project handover documentation and closeout activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements: Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in project planning, preferably in [oil & gas, EPC, manufacturing, etc.].
- Certification in project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, codes, and standards.
- Understanding of project lifecycle, from design to commissioning.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Experience working in international or large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design tools.
