The Construction Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to execution. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all construction activities for assigned projects.
- Supervise site engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and resources as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, and risk assessments.
- Oversee procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays in project execution.
- Manage project budgets and control costs effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 8 years in a managerial role in Qatar.
- Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of local construction regulations, standards, and materials.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
Working Conditions:
- The position is primarily site-based with frequent travel between project locations.
- Extended working hours may be required based on project needs.
