We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant with a valid Qatar Driving License to support our procurement team. The ideal candidate will assist in the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness while maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and procurement documentation.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery timelines, and resolve any issues.
Track inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for replenishment.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain supplier databases.
Obtain and compare quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in a purchasing or administrative role is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
· With valid Qatar Driving License
