Vendor and Contractor Management: Negotiate contracts, supervise third-party vendors, and evaluate service delivery.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the facilities budget. Monitor expenses and optimize operational costs.

Space Planning: Manage space allocation and planning to accommodate current and future business needs.

Security Management: Implement and manage physical security systems and protocols, including alarm systems, access control, and surveillance.

Sustainability Initiatives: Support and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Emergency Preparedness: Maintain emergency preparedness plans and ensure staff is trained in emergency response procedures.

Team Management: Lead a team of maintenance and custodial staff, providing training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Desired Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in facility management or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Proficiency in facilities management software (e.g., CMMS).

Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and building codes.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
