We are seeking a competent and proactive HSE Officer with at least 5 years of proven experience in Oil and Gas projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards in accordance with international regulations and company policies. The role demands strong leadership in promoting a safe work culture, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the implementation of HSE management systems at the project level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor site-specific HSE plans and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and site inductions for all personnel and subcontractors.
• Monitor work activities to ensure they are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with permits-to-work (PTW).
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, and other international safety standards.
• Maintain all HSE documentation, reports, and records in an organized manner.
• Liaise with site management, contractors, and workers to promote safe working practices.
• Participate in internal and external HSE audits and inspections.
• Monitor use of PPE and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Conduct emergency drills and assist in developing emergency response plans.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Must hold NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
• Additional certifications in OSHA, IOSH, and other relevant safety training.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legal requirements and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Familiarity with risk assessment tools, incident investigation methods, and HSE reporting systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and HSE-related software.
