We are currently seeking a proactive and resourceful Field Purchaser (Building Materials) with valid Qatar Driving License to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials directly from suppliers, vendors, and local markets. 

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure building materials as per project requirements.

Visit local markets, suppliers, and warehouses to verify product quality and availability.

Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.

Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.

Coordinate closely with the project, warehouse, and logistics teams.

Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements.

Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in field purchasing, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.

Strong knowledge of local and regional building material markets.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to supplier locations and project sites.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently under pressure.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic procurement software.
