POSITION Public Relations Officer


Job Description

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related transactions and ensuring the company’s compliance with local laws and regulations. The PRO will liaise with various government departments and agencies to process visas, labor permits, trade licenses, and other legal documentation for the organization and its employees.


Key Responsibilities:

 


Handle all visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and other immigration processes for employees and dependents.


Manage labor permits, work contracts, and other Ministry of Labor requirements.


Ensure timely processing of company trade license renewals, chamber of commerce certificates, and other official documents.


Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Immigration, Labor Department, Municipality, Traffic Department) to resolve administrative issues.


Keep up to date with changes in laws and regulations in the country to ensure company compliance.


Support HR in onboarding new employees by arranging Emirates IDs, health insurance cards, and medical tests.


Manage company vehicle registration, renewals, and fines settlement.


Maintain accurate records of all government transactions and deadlines for renewals.


Represent the company in court or other government offices, if necessary.


Advise management on legal and compliance issues related to government relations.


Desired Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications:

 


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.


Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a PRO in the GCC.


Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.


Knowledge of: GCC labor laws, immigration rules, and government procedures.


Valid driving license in the respective country.


Strong network and established relationships with local authorit
