Position Title: Accounts & Finance Executive

Job Summary

Striwak Logistics is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts & Finance Executive with 4+ years of experience, preferably in the logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade sectors. The role involves end- to- end accounting management, financial reporting, cash flow tracking, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements in Qatar and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Bookkeeping

- Maintain accurate accounting records using accounting softwares

- Daily recording of sales, purchases, journal entries, and expenses

- Handle petty cash disbursements and tracking

- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews

- Monthly account closing and reporting

Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare:

- Monthly Profit & Loss Statements

- Balance Sheet

- Cash Flow Statements

- Variance Reports (Budget vs. Actual)

- Assist in preparing financial forecasts and budgets

- Identify areas for cost optimization and process improvement

Banking & Treasury

- Manage online payments, bank transfers, cheque handling

- Coordinate with banks for LCs, Overdrafts, Credit Lines, and BGs

- Reconcile all bank statements and monitor inflow/outflow regularly

Client & Vendor Management

- Prepare and send customer invoices

- Follow up on payments, manage aging reports

- Reconcile supplier accounts and handle payment schedules

- Monitor credit terms and cash cycles

Support to CFO & Management

- Provide MIS reports to senior leadership

- Assist in due diligence, financial feasibility studies, and internal controls

- Support in internal meetings, client financial presentations, and negotiations

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (CA Inter/CMA preferred)

- Minimum 4 years of accounting and finance experience

- Strong command over Qatar Tax/VAT, IFRS, and international trade finance

- Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / ERP and Advanced Excel

- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Experience

- Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or International Trading sectors

- Familiarity with Letter of Credit (LC), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, BLs

- Working with Free Zone or cross- border financial processes

- Experience with internal controls and financial SOPs

- Monthly Salary: Competitive, based on experience

- Work Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8: 00 AM – 6: 00 PM
