Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and implement QA/QC procedures and plans.
Conduct inspections on materials, workmanship, and installation to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
Maintain detailed documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
Perform internal audits and assist in external audits by clients or regulatory bodies.
Review method statements and ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans).
Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Liaise with consultants and client representatives to ensure quality standards are met.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in QA/QC roles in construction, MEP, or oil & gas projects.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management systems.
Experience with QA/QC documentation, audits, and material inspection.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC software tools.
Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
MMUP/UPDA Certification (preferred for Civil Engineers in Qatar).
Valid Qatar Driving License (an advantage).
Transferable visa with NOC (mandatory for most roles in Qatar).
