Position Overview
We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As the first point of contact during payment, the Cashier plays a key role in ensuring a smooth guest experience by handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally at the cashier counter
- Handle all customer payments including cash, credit cards, and digital payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change as needed
- Accurately operate the POS system and maintain daily transaction records
- Ensure the cash counter is clean, organized, and presentable
- Collaborate with waitstaff and management to ensure smooth operations
- Respond to basic customer inquiries and assist in resolving payment-related concerns
- Assist with end-of-shift cash reconciliation and reporting
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer-facing role, preferably in F&B or hospitality
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic accounting procedures
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented
- Fluency in English is required.
