Responsiblities
Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing and administration
Calculating and verifying employee salaries, benefits, and deductions in accordance with company policies, employment contracts, and legal regulations
Ensuring timely and accurate data entry of payroll information, including employee details, timesheets, and attendance records, to maintain precise payroll records
Responding promptly to employee inquiries and concerns regarding their payroll
Generating payroll reports, such as payroll summaries, tax reports, and labour cost analyses
Assisting in payroll tax calculations, deductions, and submissions to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
Conducting regular audits and verifications of payroll data to identify and rectify any inaccuracies and discrepancies
Supporting the implementation and integration of new payroll systems or upgrades
Participating in process improvement initiative
Collaborating closely with the HR and Finance teams to exchange relevant payroll information on manpower budget, accounting journals and resolve payroll-related issues
Administer and implements key HR policies & procedures to enhance employee performance and alignment with organization objectives
To participate in HSE oriented programs and to comply with all HSE requirements set by the organization
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
Practical experience in payroll processing and administration
Possess excellent attention to detail for accurate payroll management and support
Well-versed in payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficient in using payroll software and tools to process payroll efficiently, generate reports, and manage records (e.g., Xero, SAP, ADP, QuickBooks, Paycom).
Experience maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive data
Strong problem-solving skills
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in MS office – Word and Excel
Independent, good interpersonal and communication skill
Pleasant disposition, proactive attitude and able to meet goals and objectives
