About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager with a solid background in Engineering, Electromechanical Trading, and the Oil & Gas sectors to lead our sales operations in Qatar. The ideal candidate will develop strategic plans, manage key accounts, lead high-performing sales teams, and expand our client base in line with the company’s growth objectives. Hands-on experience with technical/mechanical products and a deep understanding of the Qatar market are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company targets within the Engineering, Electromechanical, and Oil & Gas sectors.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to drive performance and achieve revenue goals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships with key clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and technical sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with technical, procurement, and operations departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress and sales deliverables, ensuring timely execution and budget compliance.
- Analyze market trends, client insights, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Oversee key account management and ensure consistent client growth.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management.
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of company products and services, especially in Oil & Gas applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales management within Engineering, Electromechanical Trading, or Oil & Gas industries.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical/technical products.
- Excellent understanding of the Qatar market and GCC business landscape.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to meet KPIs and revenue targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and analytical sales reporting.
