An experienced Van Salesman in FMCG will drive a company van to distribute and sell fast-moving consumer goods directly to retail outlets. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers, generating sales, expanding customer base, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role involves driving a company van, managing stock, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and sell products directly to customers using a company van.

Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.

Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned route or area.

Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and storage.

Maintain van cleanliness, safety, and proper vehicle maintenance checks.

Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile cash/credit payments.

Monitor stock levels and report inventory needs to the sales or warehouse team.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in van sales, FMCG, distribution, or a similar field is an advantage.

Strong sales and negotiation skills.

Good knowledge of local routes and areas.

Physically fit and able to lift and move stock.

Basic math and record-keeping skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
