This position will perform preliminary activities and responsibilities of an Autocad Draftsman & Estimator for Metal works (mainly non-structural) . Responsibilities includes Shop drawings, Estimations, documentations, site visits, production updates and Quality checks . The Major part of the activity is to assist Projects Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting of Shop drawings and Fabrication drawings
- Estimation and costing of Projects - sub contractor level.
- Dissection of documents and preliminary finding of scope in a project
- Drafting as per the details received
- Documentation of quotes, receivables and reports, timely
- Site visits on requirement
- Follow-ups with clients
- In-house Quality check and commenting to production supervisor
- Co-ordinate the receipt and compilation of information, necessary for the production of regular activities.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- University degree, B.Tech/B.E. in Civil/Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Excellent command in English with very strong oral and written skills
- Should possess a positive can-do attitude
- Knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Office applications.
- Dedicated, Attention to detail
- Open to direction and commitment to getting the job done
- Resourceful and ability to work independently and with minimal direction
