We are seeking dedicated and responsible Control Room Operators to join our Operation and Maintenance team for highway projects. The ideal candidates will monitor, manage, and coordinate all activities related to highway operations, ensuring safety, smooth traffic flow, and timely response to incidents.
Position: Control Room Operator (Highway O&M)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor highway traffic and operations using CCTV, traffic management systems, and communication devices.
- Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, or emergencies and coordinate with field teams and emergency services.
- Maintain communication with patrolling units, maintenance teams, and stakeholders.
- Record, report, and document all incidents, faults, and operational activities.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities through system monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational guidelines, and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/IT/Transportation or related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in Control Room Operations / Traffic Management / Highway O&M is an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergencies.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, monitoring systems, traffic software).
- Flexible to work in shifts (24/7 operations).
