Company Overview

We are a sub-subcontractor in the Oil & Gas sector, providing engineering and construction services to major projects across Qatar. To support our site operations, we are seeking a Public Relations Officer (PRO) specializing in permits and approvals to ensure smooth coordination with government authorities and project stakeholders.

Role Overview

The PRO (Permits) will be responsible for securing all required government permits, approvals, and licenses related to Oil & Gas construction activities. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Qatar’s regulatory environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle documentation and approvals in a timely and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process all government permits, approvals, and licenses related to project activities.
• Liaise with ministries, municipalities, and other government entities to secure timely approvals.
• Support project teams in obtaining gate passes, work permits, and site access documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all approvals and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar labor, immigration, and Oil & Gas industry requirements.
• Provide guidance on regulatory changes affecting project execution.
• Act as a point of contact between the company and government agencies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a PRO in Qatar (Oil & Gas sector experience strongly preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of Qatar’s government systems and approval processes.
• Strong communication and networking skills in both Arabic and English.
• Valid Qatar driving license (mandatory).
