We are a mid level Trading company dealing with all kinds of food and packaging items, mostly supllying to the restaurants. We are looking for a purchase manager who can:
Manage and oversee the entire purchasing process for the company
Source new suppliers, evaluate quotations, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Plan purchasing budgets, control costs, and support smooth cash flow management.
Stay updated with market trends and price fluctuations in the Qatar food trading sector.
Assist in setting up and implementation of international purchasing process and imports, including supplier identification, negotiations, and logistics coordination.
Lead and supervise the purchasing team, ensuring efficient operations and accountability.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and consistency of products.
Desired Skills & Experience
Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in food trading or FMCG purchasing within Qatar with strong knowledge of local suppliers and the Qatar food trading market.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
English/ Hindi/ Malayalam/ Arabic language speakers preffered
Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
