Role overview
We’re looking for a female candidate with solid experience in accounting, HR, and operations for small to medium-sized businesses. This is a multi-functional role, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can wear multiple hats, and is excited to grow with a mission-driven team working with a limited startup budget.
Key responsibilities1. Accounting & Finance
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a small business
Handle invoices, payments, petty cash, reconciliations, and monthly closing
Prepare financial reports, statements, and expense summaries
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external accountants as required
2. Human Resources
Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and leave tracking
Assist with payroll processing and compliance with Qatar labor law
Support team culture, internal communication, and performance processes
3. Operations & Administration
Oversee daily operational activities at our studios
Coordinate schedules, supplies, vendors, and logistics
Ensure smooth running of programs, classes, and events
Maintain operational checklists, SOPs, and reporting systems
Work closely with the founder to support business execution
Candidate requirements
Minimum 3 years of work experience in Qatar, overall 5+ years in accounting/HR/operations
Proven experience managing SME accounts and day-to-day operations
Strong understanding of Qatar labor law, finance procedures, and compliance
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Confident using accounting software, Excel/Sheets, and digital tools
Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-conscious startup environment
