ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. This position offers a 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Preferably with SAP experience.
  • Current residency in Qatar.
  • Possession of a valid Qatar ID.
  • Immediate availability to join.
  • Can provide his own food, accommodation
  • Transportation will be provided by the company

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Verification of cash sale collections from drivers.
  • Verification of cash/cheque/bank transfer with pre-sellers' collection summary.
  • Scan & deposit current dated cheques in the bank portal & follow-up.
  • Safe custody of post-dated cheques.
  • Prepare deposit slips for all cash and cheques submitted to the bank.
  • Prepare daily collection reports and share with stakeholders.
  • Verify physical invoices against system invoice details.
  • Enter driver cash collections into the system.
  • Complete daily settlements, ensuring no open billing/error documents.
  • Prepare a daily report for unsettled shipments and follow up.
  • Segregate cash/credit invoices, scan/upload credit invoices, and file.
  • Scan and send customer invoices as per business requirements.
  • Update daily stock details in the Ministry of Commerce stock portal.
  • Prepare daily reports as per management requirements.
  • Process manual orders in the system based on request and approval.
  • Check credit invoices next day and highlight variances.
  • Ensure month-end tasks are completed on time.
  • Attend to Sales Department queries and provide support.
  • Conduct physical stock verification during the month-end.

Working Hours: From 2:00 pm to 12:00 am

Location: Industrial Area, Street 36 (Company will provide the transportation)

Contract: Six (6) months.
