Paint Booth Operations Management

Supervise daily paint booth activities, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.

Plan and schedule paint booth operations in coordination with production planning.

Team Supervision

Lead, train, and guide paint booth operators and helpers.

Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance.

Quality Assurance

Collaborate with the Quality Department to address paint-related issues.

Analyze and report paint rejections, rework, and root causes

Request for Information (RFI) Management

Maintain records of RFIs and related corrective actions

Review, understand, and respond to RFIs from production, quality, or management teams.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality reports.

Record paint material consumption, equipment downtime, and efficiency data.

Safety & Maintenance

Ensure adherence to safety standards, proper PPE usage, and housekeeping.

Monitor ventilation, exhaust, and fire suppression systems in the booth.

Coordination & Communication

Work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.

communicate and work together  with paint suppliers for technical queries, paint trials, or process improvements.

Desired Skills & Experience

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or Paint Technology.

2-4  years of experience in automotive or industrial paint booth operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of paint booth systems (wet paint or powder coating).

Proficiency in RFI handling, data reporting, and documentation.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Awareness of safety and quality systems .
