HSE Officer

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 Months (with possibility of extension based on performance)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HSE Officer to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ensuring workplace safety, managing critical operations, and maintaining compliance with local and international HSE standards. This is a 6-month renewable project with the possibility of extension based on performance. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about safety, we would love to hear from you.

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements:

Certification: NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory)

Experience: Minimum 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in site-based roles.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation

Strong understanding of job hazard analysis (JHA) and risk identification techniques

Familiarity with permit-to-work systems, incident investigation, and emergency response planning

Knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proven capability to manage critical lifting operations safely and efficiently

Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams
