Project Services Co. Qatar W.L.L., a leading construction company in Qatar, is seeking a qualified Safety Officer cum Lifting Supervisor to ensure safe work practices and compliance with local regulations across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations at site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and maintain all HSE documentation, reports, and permits as required.
• Supervise and control all lifting operations, ensuring proper rigging and equipment inspection.
• Verify that all lifting equipment, operators, and riggers are certified and in good condition.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to ensure safe execution of all lifting and construction activities.
• Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses, and recommend preventive actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture among all workers on site.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects in Qatar.
• Must be a certified Safety Officer (NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent).
• Must hold a valid Lifting Supervisor certificate approved by Qatar authorities.
• Strong knowledge of QCS, Ashghal, and local HSE regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
