We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer for a 2-month shutdown project based in Dukhan and Ras Laffan, Qatar. The selected candidate must be able to mobilize on or before 15 December 2025.
The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety procedures, conducting site inspections, supporting the shutdown team with risk assessments, and maintaining a safe working environment throughout the project duration.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce company and client HSE policies at site.
Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions.
Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with safe work practices.
Carry out site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
Prepare and maintain HSE reports, incident logs, and documentation.
Support emergency response activities and coordinate with site teams.
Ensure all personnel follow proper PPE and safety guidelines.
Report unsafe acts/conditions and recommend corrective actions.

Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in oil & gas projects (mandatory).
NEBOSH IGC certification obtained before 2022 (mandatory).
Previous experience in shutdown/turnaround projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, safe work practices, and PTW systems.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced shutdown environments.
Must be currently in Qatar with QID and freelancer visa and ready for immediate mobilization.
