Assistant Store Manager – Retail / Food Sector
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with operational and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and staff supervision
Support sales targets and promotional activities
Ensure high standards of customer service
Monitor inventory, stock levels, and minimize wastage
Oversee cash handling, POS operations, and shift schedules
Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards (food sector)
Handle customer issues and support team performance
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
Experience as Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor in retail or food sector
Basic knowledge of inventory control, POS, and reporting
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
