We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Executive to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales process by preparing technical proposals, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring accurate and timely responses to client inquiries in the marine electronics, navigation, communication, automation, and safety systems domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Quotation Preparation:
Assist in preparing initial and final quotations for enquiries received by the sales engineers.
Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company pricing policies.
Maintain and update quotation records for reference and reporting.
Service Job Coordination:
Arrange for engineer attendance onboard vessels or supply jobs based on confirmed service requests.
Communicate job details with relevant teams to ensure smooth execution.
Keep clients informed about job schedules and updates.
Inter-Department Coordination:
Liaise with internal departments such as technical, operations, purchase, store, and transportation to facilitate job execution.
Ensure smooth workflow by proactively addressing potential bottlenecks.
Job Completion & Client Satisfaction:
Follow up with the technical and operations teams to ensure successful job completion.
Address and resolve any client concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Communication & Documentation:
Maintain professional email communication with clients regarding job confirmations, updates, and follow-ups.
Ensure all job-related documents are accurately recorded and maintained.
Invoicing & Payment Follow-Up:
Generate and submit invoices to clients after job completion.
Support the receivables team in following up on outstanding payments when necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (EEE , ECE, Marine, Electrical, Instrumentation, or similar).
0–4 years of experience, Freshers are also considered
Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and technical documentation.
