The Senior Accountant will lead and supervise a team of two accountants, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial operations. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills to manage the full accounting cycle and support strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of two accountants, providing guidance and performance oversight.
• Take ownership of the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare and issue client invoices, ensuring correct amounts and timely billing.
• Manage accounts receivable, proactively following up to secure timely payments.
• Oversee accounts payable, ensuring all obligations are met on schedule.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Must be locally available and authorized to work in Doha.
