We are seeking an experienced F&B Cost Controller


Job Description

We are seeking an experienced F&B Cost Controller responsible for monitoring and managing food and beverage costs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring effective cost control procedures within the operation. The ideal candidate will analyze cost data, support purchasing and inventory management, and help optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs to ensure alignment with budget and operational targets.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, stock counts, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor purchasing activities, supplier pricing, and cost fluctuations.
  • Review and control recipe costing, menu pricing, and portion control standards.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, purchasing, and finance teams to ensure accurate stock management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial procedures, and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in F&B cost control, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or catering operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and cost control procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of ERP or inventory management software is an advantage.
