We are looking for a qualified Environment Officer to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, Ashghal requirements, and Environmental Management Plans (EMP) across construction sites.
???? Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Ashghal environmental requirements and QCS standards
Implement and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP)
Conduct site inspections and environmental audits
Monitor and control:
Dust emissions
Noise levels
Waste management and disposal
Water usage and drainage impact
Ensure proper waste segregation, storage, and disposal
Maintain environmental records and reports
Conduct toolbox talks and awareness sessions
Report environmental incidents and implement corrective actions
???? Requirements
Strong knowledge of environmental practices in construction projects
Familiarity with Ashghal and QCS standards
Experience in pollution control and waste management
Good reporting and documentation skills
???? Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering
OR
NEBOSH Environmental Management
OR
IEMA Certification
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Experience in roads & infrastructure / Ashghal projects preferred
???? Mandatory
Must be locally available in Qatar (Valid QID)
Immediate or short notice preferred
Ability to work on construction sites
