A Gym Trainer is responsible for guiding clients in achieving their fitness goals through safe, effective, and personalized exercise programs. They ensure proper use of equipment, maintain discipline in the gym, and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients’ physical fitness, goals, and limitations
• Create personalized workout and training programs
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and correct posture
• Monitor clients during workouts to prevent injuries
• Track client progress and update fitness plans regularly
• Provide guidance on weight loss, muscle gain, and overall fitness
• Assist members in using gym equipment properly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym
• Build good relationships with clients and provide motivation
• Stay updated with new fitness trends and techniques

Rules of a Gym Trainer:

• Always be punctual and present on duty time
• Wear proper gym uniform and maintain professional appearance
• Treat all clients with respect and equality
• Do not misuse gym equipment or allow unsafe practices
• Avoid personal phone use during training sessions
• Maintain client confidentiality (health and personal details)
• Follow all gym safety and hygiene standards
• No harassment, inappropriate behavior, or unprofessional conduct
• Do not provide incorrect or harmful fitness advice
• Follow management instructions and gym policies

Requirements:

• Certification in Fitness Training / Personal Training
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, nutrition, and exercise science
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and energetic personality
• Ability to motivate and guide clients
• First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)

Working Conditions:

• 8–10 hours duty (shift-based)
• Work in gym/fitness center environment
• May include weekends and holidays
