We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Purchase Officer to lead and manage both local and international procurement of foodstuff and related FMCG products. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sourcing products from both local and overseas markets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth import operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement for local and international suppliers
• Source reliable vendors and develop long-term partnerships
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with both local and overseas suppliers
• Handle import processes including documentation, shipping coordination, and customs clearance
• Track global and local market trends to optimize purchasing decisions

Requirements:

• Experience as a Purchase Officer or similar role in foodstuff or FMCG industry
• Knowledge in international procurement and import procedures
• Valid Qatari driving license is required
• New supplier sourcing and supplier relationship managing skills are required
• Familiarity with shipping terms (Incoterms), documentation, and customs procedures is an added benefit
• Language preference: English, Hindi, Malayalam, Arabic
