Retail Team Leader drives store profitability and operational excellence by leading, training, and scheduling the retail team. This role ensures outstanding customer service, achieves sales targets, and maintains optimal inventory, visual merchandising, and store security standards.
*Key Responsibilities*
Team Leadership: Delegate daily tasks, conduct product and service training, and performance-manage staff. Assist in creating staff schedules to match operational demands.
Sales & Customer Service: Communicate sales targets to the team and drive performance to achieve or exceed goals. Deliver exceptional customer service on the shop floor and at the register, handling inquiries and escalations professionally.
Store Operations & Inventory: Monitor shelf stock, maintain inventory levels, and ensure accurate pricing and promotional merchandising. Uphold all visual, quality, and health & safety standards.
Security & Compliance: Enforce payment, exchange, and security policies. Maintain strict cash control, proactively prevent theft, and minimize stock loss.
*Qualifications & Requirements*
Education: Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3–5 years of retail experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a team lead or supervisory position.
Core Skills: Proven leadership, analytical, and project management skills. Familiarity with inventory systems, storekeeping procedures, and basic accounting principles.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in computer software and hardware, with an enthusiastic approach to learning about retail products (toys, apparel, gaming, hardware, and software).
Languages: Fluent in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage
