Pastry Chef / Baker

LOCATION: Doha, Qatar

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Pastry Chef/Baker to join our team as we launch a new café and bakery concept in Doha.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing consistently high-quality products, enjoys working as part of a team, and is excited about helping build a business from the ground up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing and producing pastries and menu items to a high standard

• Following recipes accurately and maintaining consistency in all products

• Assisting with daily kitchen preparation and production

• Monitoring ingredient quality and stock levels

• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards at all times

• Ensuring correct food storage, labelling, and stock rotation procedures are followed

• Working closely with other staff members to ensure smooth daily operations

• Supporting product testing and menu development when required

• Taking initiative and contributing positively to the growth of the business

• Being flexible with operational requirements and business needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous professional bakery or pastry experience

• Formal pastry or baking qualification preferred

• Strong understanding of quality control and consistency

• Experience working with doughs, breads, pastries, or bakery production

• Hardworking, trustworthy, and reliable

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Flexibility and adaptability in a growing business environment

PREFERRED

• Candidates already based in Qatar

• Experience in cafés, bakeries, or specialty food concepts

• Experience with recipe development or product testing
