Government Liaison Officer will be responsible for managing interactions with government authorities and regulatory bodies related to property management operations. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, facilitates lease registration processes, manages permits and approvals, and coordinates with utilities and external authorities to support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison with Qatari ministries, municipalities, and regulatory authorities.
Manage Tawtheeq (lease attestation) processes and ensure compliance with tenancy regulations.
Coordinate the renewal of licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals.
Liaise with utility providers such as KAHRAMAA and telecom operators for service activation and related matters.
Maintain records and trackers for regulatory documentation and expiry monitoring.
Support dispute resolution and coordinate approvals for signage, events, and property modifications.
Monitor regulatory updates and advise internal stakeholders on compliance requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in Government Relations, PRO, Property Management, or related roles.
Previous experience dealing with Qatari authorities, municipalities, and regulatory systems.
Familiarity with Tawtheeq and tenancy regulations.
Experience in real estate or property management environments is preferred.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and government service portals.
Fluent in English.
Arabic is mandatory.
