Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions in the accounting system.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments.

Monitor inventory costing and reconcile inventory records when required.

Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.

Support management with financial reports and other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality, restaurant, retail, or food & beverage industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in inventory accounting and cost control is an advantage.

Candidates currently residing in Qatar with transferable sponsorship (NOC) are preferred.
