We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in real estate, commercial, residential, and mixed-use property projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, supervising, maintaining, and improving electrical systems across company-owned properties and development projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, review, and supervise electrical systems for residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments.

Prepare electrical drawings, load calculations, BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.

Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, contractors, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.

Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, international standards, and safety regulations.

Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure timely project completion.

Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements.

Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction and maintenance activities.

Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical infrastructure in company properties.

Oversee electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, transformers, generators, UPS systems, LV panels, emergency lighting, and earthing systems.

Coordinate with utility authorities for electrical connections, inspections, and approvals.

Prepare technical reports, progress reports, maintenance records, and project documentation.

Recommend energy-efficient solutions and cost-saving initiatives for building operations.

Support facility management teams with electrical troubleshooting and system upgrades.

Ensure all work complies with company quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in real estate, property development, construction, or facility management.

Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.

Experience with commercial buildings, residential towers, villas, retail developments, and mixed-use projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.

Knowledge of local authority regulations and international electrical standards.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under deadlines.

Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications are an advantage.

GCC/Qatar experience is preferred.

Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage.
