We are looking for a highly skilled ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer with hands-on experience in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ELV systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fire Alarm, Public Address (PA), Audio Visual (AV), Intercom, SMATV, Gate Barrier, Building Management System (BMS), Intrusion Alarm, and Networking systems.
The candidate must be capable of managing multiple projects, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and delivering projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, install, configure, test, commission, and maintain ELV systems.
Supervise installation teams and subcontractors during project execution.
Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and method statements.
Review project specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
Perform system integration between CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS, Networking, and other ELV systems.
Configure IP-based CCTV cameras, NVRs, VMS software, biometric attendance systems, and access control solutions.
Install and troubleshoot structured cabling systems including Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, patch panels, racks, and network switches.
Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for ELV systems.
Diagnose faults and provide technical support for ELV equipment.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure all installations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.
Prepare project documentation, inspection requests, commissioning reports, and handover documents.
Attend project meetings and provide technical updates.
Support project planning, scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
Ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
3–8 years of experience in ELV systems engineering.
Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, healthcare, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of ELV standards, installation practices, and testing procedures.
Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLAN, switches, routers, and IP addressing.
Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
