Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
Develop and modify Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing layouts using AutoCAD.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Structural teams to resolve drawing conflicts.
Review engineering drawings and specifications before drafting.
Ensure drawings comply with project standards, client specifications, and applicable codes.
Update drawings based on site modifications and engineering revisions.
Prepare material layouts, equipment installation drawings, and coordination drawings.
Maintain proper drawing records and document control procedures.
Support engineers and project teams with drafting and design updates.
Participate in interdisciplinary coordination to avoid clashes and improve constructability.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP CAD Operator, preferably in the Oil & Ga
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
Experience in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and MEP coordination drawings.
Good understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Electrical systems.
Familiarity with international codes and standards applicable to Oil & Gas projects.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
