Job Summary

Pledge Decoration Co. W.L.L. is seeking an experienced Gypsum Foreman to supervise and manage gypsum and drywall installation works for commercial and high-end fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily gypsum board, drywall partition, false ceiling, bulkhead, shaft wall, and decorative ceiling installations.

Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.

Read and interpret construction drawings and coordinate work accordingly.

Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and other subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Ensure work is carried out according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Monitor workmanship and maintain high-quality installation standards.

Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure compliance with company safety policies and site regulations.

Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.

Prepare daily work progress reports and manpower reports.

Resolve on-site issues and coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.

Train and guide installers to improve productivity and workmanship.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Gypsum Foreman in Qatar or GCC.

Strong knowledge of gypsum board systems, drywall partitions, suspended ceilings, access panels, and finishing works.

Ability to read and understand construction and shop drawings.

Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage.

Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in high-end fit-out, commercial, hospitality, or residential projects.

Experience working with Knauf, USG, or equivalent gypsum systems.
