Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel QA/QC Engineer to ensure all structural steel fabrication and erection works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards. The successful candidate will oversee inspections, documentation, and quality control activities throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections for structural steel fabrication and erection works.
• Review shop drawings, material certificates, WPS, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with production, site, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Conduct visual inspections and monitor welding and fabrication activities.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and NCRs.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in structural steel fabrication or construction.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding inspection, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with WPS, PQR, ITP, and material traceability.
• GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.
