Working Days: 6 days per week

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Manager from a logistics, transportation or fleet services company to manage daily operations while also contributing to customer development and business growth.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations professional with proven fleet/transportation management, team leadership, customer management and sales/business development experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily logistics, transportation, fleet and delivery operations.
• Plan and allocate vehicles, drivers and operational resources.
• Monitor fleet utilization, service performance and operating costs.
• Supervise drivers and logistics personnel and resolve operational issues.
• Manage customer relationships, enquiries and service requirements.
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Generate leads, respond to RFQs, prepare quotations and follow up on opportunities.
• Support customer meetings, negotiations and conversion of prospects.
• Identify opportunities to increase fleet utilization, revenue and profitability.
• Monitor operational KPIs and provide management reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• Locally available in Qatar – required.
• Experience working in a logistics, transportation or fleet services company – required.
• 5+ years of relevant logistics/transportation experience, including management or supervisory experience.
• Proven experience managing fleet, drivers and daily logistics operations.
• Sales/business development experience with proven ability to develop customers and generate business – required.
• Strong customer relationship, negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with focus on revenue growth and cost efficiency.
• Qatar market experience and an existing customer/business network are an advantage.
• Valid Qatar Driving Licence is an advantage.
