We are looking for an experienced Structural Draftsman & QS to join our team in Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Prepare structural shop drawings for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs, etc.
- Prepare detailed rebar shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Calculate reinforcement quantities, bar lengths, weights, and cutting lists.
- Perform quantity take-offs for concrete, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, plaster and other construction civil works.
- Prepare and update BOQs, quantity sheets, and measurement sheets.
- Assist with variations, material quantity calculations, and progress measurements.
- Coordinate with engineers and site teams and revise drawings based on consultant comments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in structural drafting and quantity take-off.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and reinforcement detailing.
- Excellent AutoCAD and Excel skills.
- Experience in BBS preparation is essential.
- Ability to read and understand IFC/structural drawings.
- Qatar/GCC construction experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
